St. Peters, O'Fallon and St. Charles Weather Get St. Peters, O'Fallon and St. Charles Weather Reports Here Our metropolitan region is lucky in that it has four distinct seasons. When spring arrives, the variety of plant and tree life blooms and buds with great colors and fragrant smells. Cool nights and sunny days, sometimes with a bit of wind, then turn to warm sunny summer days and nights. Our area comes alive with activity, summer sports and water fun, whether by pool, riverside or lakefront. A colorful fall, where leaves change to bright oranges and reds provide a great opportunity for hayrides, football games and bonfires. Once winter arrives, we've been known to have our share of a White Christmas periodically, but usually snowstorms are not something that slow our residents down. Winter sports, nights by the fireplace and warm family meals abound.
If you are looking for an area with rotating seasons, a variety of activities and the opportunity to see the weather world change around you, the St. Charles metropolitan area might just be the place for you!
To check out local weather, please link to: St. Charles Weather Information St. Charles is located on the banks of the Missouri river. Further east, the County and City of St. Louis can be found. St. Louis is located at the confluence of the Mississippi and Missouri rivers, and near the geographical and population centers of the United States. Its position in the middle latitudes allows the area to be affected by warm moist air that originates in the Gulf of Mexico, as well as cold air masses that originate in Canada. The alternate invasion of these air masses produces a wide variety of weather conditions, and allows the region to enjoy a true four-season climate. During the summer months, air originating from the Gulf of Mexico tends to dominate the area, producing warm conditions; however, extremely hot temperatures are expected on no more than five days per year. Winters are brisk and stimulating, but prolonged periods of extremely cold weather are rare. Records show that temperatures drop to zero or below an average of only 2 or 3 days per year, and temperatures as cold as 32 degrees or lower occur less than 25 days in most years. Snowfall of an inch or less is received on 5 to 10 days in most years. Normal Daily Mean Temperature- January -- 29.6°

About Appraisals >The Language of Real Estate Agents
Technical terms can be confusing to people who do not work in a profession, and real estate agents use language that may be confusing to many home buyers and sellers.
If you find your eyes glazing over when your real estate agent starts talking about escrow, clear title, easements, encroachments, contingencies, financing, appraisals and the closing process, don't hesitate to ask for a translation. Buying or selling a home is a major step, and professional real estate agents are totally committed to helping you understand the process thoroughly so that you can make informed decisions.
The simple transaction of trading the sellers' house for the buyers' money has become complicated by several hundred years of custom, common law, and state and local government requirements. Consumer demands have resulted in up-to-date rules that communication be as clear and understandable as possible. Real estate agents work to create an atmosphere in which you feel comfortable to ask questions.
